The MAUDE Unit provides personalized, state-of-the-art care in cardiac surgery, cardiac intervention, valvular heart disease and transplantation as well as integrated care in medicine and obstetrics for patients with congenital heart disease.

The program ensures a smooth transition for pediatric patients with congenital heart disease from the Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH) to adult care. This transition is even more seamless following the move to the Glen site, where the MAUDE Unit is located next to the MCH. The MUHC is one of a few  facilities in North America to provide healthcare throughout the lifespan under one roof.
